How much were the solar panels? Where were they purchased from?

I’ve been looking for a design like this for a while. I’d happily live in it! Sadly I don’t think it would fall outside planning regulations here in the uk, simply because it is too high. Great video.

Hello I enjoyed watching this. I’m having a cabin built at the moment similar size and watched this hoping to find out about the solar panels. Any info would be appreciated. Tyvm

I’m not sure why the images say anything about Solar Powered as the cabin in the video is not powered in any way. The price list does not show solar panel costs nor does it show any wiring for electrical. You cannot just put solar panels on a building and have power. Electrical lines still must be run and some place to store the power. This is clearly just a “cabin” (actually more of a shed since there is no insulation for the walls) that has no power in it.

Try building a log cabin for $2000 in Spain 1700 euros You’ld pay that just for the solar installation !

Designate a level 20-foot building site and position a cinder block at the four corners for this DIY cabin.
